The thought to celebrate International Fruit Day Originated from the will to create world wide festival day for people of any culture, nation, religion and way of life.
The aim is to share fruits in sympathy and joy with family, friends or needy. The International Fruit Day was first announced in 2007 and celebrated at the Wall Park in Berlin. The International

International Fruit Day is celebrated on 1st July all over the world since 2007,sharing fruits with love because the regional and seasonal diversity of fruit may be seen as the diversity of people and their Culture. The idea is to share fruit and Vegetable with others to gain solidarity and create culture exchange.
The fruit of the year 2018 is “ KIWI”

NATIONAL DOCTORS DAY:
National Doctors Day is Observed to recognize the contribution of Physicians to individual lives and communities. The first Doctor’s Day Observance was on March 30th 1933 in Winder-Georgia.
It’s the day to render our Obesisance to the second creators, without whom a healthy life is impossible.
The Day of observance may vary from nation to nation depending on the event of commemoration used to mark the day. Some nations the day is marked as a holiday.
In India 1st July is observed as National Doctor’s Day to honour the legendary physician and the second chief Minister of west Bengal, Dr. Bidhan Chamdra Roy. He was award “ Bharat Ratna ” on 4th Februry 1961.
Dual Celebration in SSNMHSS
It’s a well known fact that the Doctor’s service and fruits’ service to human are indespensible. The Proverb” An apple a Day keeps the Doctor away” reveals the fact Clearly, that fruits are as important as Doctors. To insist this there was a dual celebration in our school.
The Clebration commend on a warm Pleasant morning with a warm, cordial welcome speech.
Then our student master Monish(xi-c) gave a stunning speech that detailed the origin and significance of the Doctors’ Day.
Next our student Suji Priya(VII-C) gave an instructive and informative speech that detailed the significance of the International Fruit Day, Proving that she is in no way inferior to her Senior.
The Programme that Crowned the celebration was the report by the IV and VI std students. It Provided a great deal of advice.
Our Students, Namya, Varsha, Karunya, Monisha, Suchitha and KaviPriya of IV std provided some tips to lead a healthy life.
Our VI std Students Keerthika , Naveen , Visalan , Suhasini and Rithika reported the importance of taking fruits.
Eventually our respected Principal Mr. Kaveri concluded the celebration delivering words of appreciation , appreciating the participants for their effective participation.
